Rocky Mountain Pilates

Melanie Walter, Owner Melanie Walter has been teaching Pilates in Boulder County since 2000, and teaching group fitness since 1987. She has been certified in the Pilates method by two master trainers in the local area, most recently by Richard Rossiter at Pilates Institute of Boulder. Melanie uses her experience as an ACE certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor, as well as YogaFit training, to bring a practical, fitness-based application of the classical Pilates method to her clients. Workshops with first generation teachers Jay Grimes, Ron Fletcher, Mary Bowen, Lolita San Miguel (pupils of Joseph and Clara Pilates), as well as leaders in the Pilates industry Kathryn Ross-Nash, Peter Fiasca, Bob Liekens, Siri Galliano, Rael Isacowitz, Elizabeth Larkam, Susan Moran, Jillian Hessel, and Nora St. John, brings diversity to Rocky Mountain Pilates instruction. Melanie's goal is to bring the community together in a fun, non-intimidating and unpretentious setting.
