Melanie Walter has been teaching Pilates in Boulder County since 2000, and teaching group fitness since 1987. She has been certified in the Pilates method by two master trainers in the local area, most recently by Richard Rossiter at Pilates of Boulder. Melanie uses her experience as an ACE certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor, as well as YogaFit training, to bring a practical, fitness-based application of the Pilates method to her clients. Workshops with first generation teachers Ron Fletcher, Mary Bowen, Lolita San Miguel (pupils of Joseph and Clara Pilates), as well as leaders in the Pilates industry Rael Isacowitz, Elizabeth Larkam, Cara Reeser, and Julian Littleford brings diversity to Rocky Mountain Pilates instruction. Melanie's goal is to bring the community together in a fun, non-intimidating and unpretentious setting. The instructors at Rocky Mountain Pilates are very charismatic as well as highly experienced in the classes they teach. |
